This is an engineering acivity in the Future City Game.
“Future City” - is a simulation game that models the process of
growth and development of a Future City through a live cooperation
between participants using special game mechanics and with a help
of moderators. It emphasizing creative, social, infrastructural and
economical aspects of such development. This game lets players to
create unique vision of the future based on existing trends and
realize this vision in a City. As in reality, players with their
in-game projects reinforce or weaken certain trends, produce and
spend resources, cooperate with municipality, deal with each other
and face the consequences of their actions. The process revolves
around the city map which is the miniature of the jointly created
megapolis that reflects teams’ projects and the interconnections
between them.
